Thats it! I'm printing and framing this. Then I am going to hang it on the front door.

I've learned that a hot iron is your best friend when setting and pressing a seam..

I've also learned that said hot iron also loves to set and press your fingers from time to time... especially when you least expect it.

I've learned when your machine has an attitude and so do you, alcohol and/or chocolate are likely to be your best friends cuz even the cat doesn't want to be near me then.

Thank you so much for the most entertaining half hour. And thank you for making me realize that I am a normal person--for a quilter.

Don't expect your non-quilting friends to applaud your latest endeavour. They really don't get it and couldn't care less--unfortunately for them!

When the thought occurs to you that you should just walk away for a while do it-usually saves alot of ripping out or re cutting later :).

I have learned that I am proud to belong to the greatest grp. in the world. Everywhere I go I talk about my "online quilt grp. with members from all over the world".
Nobody can talk "quilty talk" like this bunch. Or teach me so much.

Love this thread! What a great start to the day!

What I have learned ... No matter how many pairs of scissors I have, there will never be one around when I need it in a hurry. Likewise for pencils!
