    I think it's a great idea, especially if the second hand fabric is greatly reduced in price and is clean like new. I shop at thrift stores sometimes and the smell of the fabric can knock me out, so I don't buy it.

    When and where...I'll be there! I get lots of bargains at the local thrift store but if it was just for quilters/sewers...I don't know if you could drag me out of there!

    Yes. Don't we kinda do that with the classifieds on this board? A secondhand shop would be great for books, patterns, rulers, etc. Not to mention the fabric!!
