I worked on Block #10 of the Stitcher's Garden BOM...I am needle-turn challenged so I ordered a kit from Sharon Schambers site for Turned-Edge Applique...It came in, so I worked on her technique and just love it!!

Working on several wool capes with fake fur trim for resale. Also lined them for extra insulation.

I have started quilting my granddaughter's Christmas quilt. So that is what I need to be doing but not what I want to be doing right now. I think I will get off the computer and quilt something. by

I started and finished a table runner and 4 of those cute folded wine coasters to go with it. It is for a gift exchange for my work next week. SO glad it's done early - I'm usually hand stitching and wrapping the night before an event. LOL

I spent the weekend at my SIL's so I worked on crochet instead of quilting! Got some pot holders done, and started on a cape for myself. Actually got it about half done.

Made a pillowcase for one of the homeless children living in a shelter. Have 3 now made and need to ship to the member on the board who needs them. I find it rewarding to help a poor homeless child. My heart just aches for them.

    Default Chemocaps

A few weeks ago I met a mother going home on Thursday as her daughter is having chemotherapy. So I have been sewing chemocaps to send with her.

    TMS, I love your caps.

I have had about 2 months with a really bum shoulder, so I was delighted to finish 3 star blocks. I am a part of a swap of Straw Hat Sam's. Of course, I'd lost my own block. I was given 9. The 3 star blocks are for filling in to make a 3x4 block quilt. I have now almost finished friendship stars centered on the cornerstones, so it will be a really lively quilt whenever I get it finished.
