Wall Hanging Swap March-June 2014
#111
Hi all, I have my name, Yeah!!! Going West but anything I mail goes that direction.
I will send tracking # to my swap person.
Hey JNCT14, how about an old fashion Swedish Heart Ornament and pattern. I made 100+ for Valentines day to give to co workers they are fast and use almost no material. A sweet little keepsake. Hearts don't have to be just for Valentines Day.
I found my pattern in Fons & Porter/ Quilting Quickly Magazine. Here is a link for the pattern: It would be cute adding a package of hand needles or floss or candy to complete them. They can be made any size you want, even big enough to fit a rolled fat quarter. Wouldn't that be fun.

I used fabric and ironed interfacing to the back, traced the pattern and cut them out. It took me a few days for the 100 but 10 could be done in a few hours.
peace

Ube you should post that pic on my Scrap Club thread! It is really great! The spider web was one of the first designs I played with 30 years ago when I first started quilting. It is a great pattern. Love your version of it with the stars in the middle.

Mine has been mailed also. Sorry I haven't been on this thread very much, I have kids, grandkids and great grandkids here, 14 people. It's a tad hectic to say the least. Quiet again Monday..

Thanks, Jan
I got my wall hanging from Jaba today and I think I may be the first one to receive theirs.
It's a fractured quilt which I have never heard of before but I like it a lot.
I am going to try to send a picture a took with my ipad and am not sure if it will work. If not, I will redo with my camera so I can show you all.
