For some of the colors I would like to use fq. I have enough of the same color to meet the required yardage. Will this work? This will not be my focus color. Or should I just look for yardage. I was thinking color 2,3 or 4. Or the main or second accent. Or would I be better to have yardage for any of these? Everyone seems very excited and full of questions :) I appreciate all the work you are putting into this for all of us!

This link doesn't work for me. I'm a bit confused about the outer border post, do we still need the same amount of fabric stated in the original list? Thanks!!
Someone else reposted the link. There were periods or something that messed it up. here is the link :)

Sorry, Missy, I guess I am a bit dense, LOL. So is the second accent for color 3 or color 4?
Scratch out outer border and replace it with Color #4. (On your list..)

Ok.. here it goes.. let's start over now..

Focus Fabric- that is a big print that you like but don't want to cut into little pieces. I gave the hint of it will be cut into 12 1/2". This way you can judge and audition the colors in the focus.

Background: It will be throughout the quilt.

Color 1- This will be a main color fabric.

Color 2- This fabric will complement/or contrast (your choice) with Color 1.

By the way, I have final auditions of my fabric ..

Inner Border- This fabric should be bold to 'stop' the pattern and frame it.

Color 3- This fabric will 'play' with your focus fabric.

Color 4- This will complement/contrast (again.. your choice) with Color3.

Accent- This fabric will contrast(to "pop-out"). It will go with Color 2.

Second accent- This fabric will contrast (to show the pattern it will need to contrast) with Color 1.

Mysi's Pic of fabric!

You can use fq's for 2, 3, and 4 if you want that would be ok.. are you going to stick in the same color family for each color? Hope this helps.. I can see even fq's for both the accents

Not really sure what I am going to do. I have a couple different groups of fat quarters that I bought because I really liked them but there wasn't any yardage to buy. So I ended up with a bunch of fat quarters in one print lol. I wanted to make sure that we weren't cutting longer pieces in these where a fat quarter wouldn't work. I only have a few pieces picked out so far. I am pretty excited :) And the twin and the full are the same size?

The only place that a fat quarter wouldn't work is for the focus fabric. It has to be 12 1/2" square. Thank you for your kind thoughts.
