Your quilt is so pretty. What size of quilt do you think is the largest that you can quilt with your new beauty?
I have the 6600 and I have quilted a queen size quilt with no problem. I love mine and it is a workhorse. Enjoy yours!!

it is a work horse. P stands for professional. that means a lot of heavy duty work can be put thru it, and IT KEEPS ON RUNNING. i have quilted many a queen and several king quilts on mine. i went to get the 6500 cause it was recommended to me, and the 6600P's had just come out, so got it instead. luv luv luv it.

I have learned so much from this group, it covers Janome 6500/6600/7700 machines. They are a fantistic group. Don't know how to do something and it is not in the manual? Just ask and someone will be able to help.

Enjoy your new toy. You are going to love it.
    ditto!

I got the same machine in September and like someone else on here said "I love it more every day". It has all the bells and whistles that you could ask for. I love, love, love the needle up/down, thread cutter and threader and the on/off button to name a few.

I tried the foot pedal the first day I got it to make sure it worked and haven't used it again. I've gotten so used to the on/off button that I'd be lost without it.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I have no doubt you will.

Good times! Isn't it just the best getting a new machine and then having that first day that you can devote entirely to playing with it? I always get flooded with so many inspirations when I get a new machine, and then I have to write them all down as a to do list. I'm so happy you finally got a new dream machine for yourself. Enjoy it in good health and many happy hours of sewing/quilting!

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

I got it from a friend that worked with a lady at a sew and vac. She was upgrading to a Horizon and the owner was giving her a great deal. She wanted to return the favor to someone else. I was REALLY blessed to have gotten it for that price as my research clearly showed:) It is in pristine condition as well because she worked there:):)
