I'm done! I'm done!!!! I never thought I would be able to say that but it all turned out & I love it! The only bummer is that I need to go buy backing fabric as the yellow I wanted to use was only 4 yards. I plan on hand quilting this one & can't wait to start. I promise to get a picture when my husband can hold it up (it turned out bigger than my design wall)

I love all of the quilts posted so far. Each person has put their own personality into them & they all just shine!

All of the quilts are so so pretty. I am still stitching away. When I finish, I will post my pics too. I will be so excited like Beachbound.

Evie: I like the effect of the blocks in the center and the stars on the outside. It looks like a purposeful design choice to me.
Jill: Great finish. You managed to make the scraps glow. My favorite effect for a scrappy.
Beachbound/Susan Looking forward to seeing your completions.

mine is half size (the other 6 blocks are waiting a bit ) and not as vivid in color as my other projects have been. this was made from all pieces and scraps from various sources except the yellow stars are my yellow with tiny butterflies that you have all seen before...lol ... and I still have several yards, love those butterflies. I have been calling it my prairie quilt, because it makes me think of covered wagons, and sharing fabrics.

Evie, I really like the way your stars turned out. Necessity....and so on....led to a very creative quilt.

    Jill, Great scrappy! Very pretty.

Sunliten, Love it! And a great name too. It does make one think of covered wagons.

I'm still working away. Don't know why I'm so slow but have to speed up because I hear a whistle in the distance.

Yes, Evie, your solution was inspired -- lovely finish.

Jill, I love the white stars.

Sunliten, I do like your color choices -- really nice!

Sunliten: Great finish! Really like the different outer border. It says scrappy without overwhelming the center.

Jolo, are you strictly wanting just blues and greens or will other colors be okay? have an orphan red and white heart I can send if it will work in your quilt.
This square is pretty. I don't know about anyone else, but when I see a quilt or square I like the looks of, I start to dissect it and see if it is something I can do. Wouldn't that make an interesting challenge if some one were to offer a different square every week for so many weeks, but never showed the pattern in color including their own. Talk about having each square turn up different, as some would make the arrangement so different than others. Interesting thought. All the squares the same size, each week a different pattern, but each square using the same colors and number of colors. Anyway, as I tend to do, I drifted off the issue, lovely square, as all of them have been. Thank you everyone for all I have learned.
