Hi Sylviak,
Thank you for posting an update with pictures. I've been wondering how things were coming along and was ready to send you an email inquiry. It's coming right along for sure. DH and DS and been working hard on your sewing hideaway. Thank you for sharing the progress of your new room.

Well, it takes time, but we are getting closer! Had a week of storms and couldn't do much, but DH and a friend are working on it every afternoon. It really looked different after the "batting" went up. Now, with the sheetrock, it is beginning to look more like a room. I'm beginning to think PAINT!! I have picked out two colors that I may use. Both are a shade of apricot. Wanted to give it a "warm" look. Anyway, here are some pics of the sheetrocked room and the colors I'm thinking about. I'm thinking the darker shade at the ends and the lighter shade on the long sides.
"Sandwiching" completed!

Thought I'd add: The ceiling and all the trim will be white. There will be a white fan/light fixture in the center and where the bulbs are will be a flourescent light fixture(48")running horizontally (that's 2 fixtures on either side of the fan/light.

A friend of my DH texured the walls and ceiling and I'm now painting the ceiling white....which is boring. I can hardly wait to get to the walls! I've got about a third of the ceiling done and can tell I will need another can of the ceiling paint since I've used half the can! Looking up like that makes me dizzy and my neck feels stiff! Might as well get used to it!
