When I wake up and am torn between quilting or "duties", I log on to this website to give me a proper perspective on the world, ...and do what I want (quilting, instead of what I should (at least according to other people). This is why I love this "enabler's" site! God bless us all!

I am ashamed to admit that I get irritated when a non-quilter tries to tell me how to design my quilt!

If my son "told" me I couldn't do something, I'd remind him to not let the door hit his backside as he leaves.

Ashamed to admit that reading this board and quilting take up my day and there is no time to get other things done.

LOL We have L and L night. Left over lunch.

Now if you are familiar with Hawaii and some other states that have L and L restaurants you know it is a fast food place with Hawaiian food. So the kids are always dissapointed it is the Left Over Lunch and not the real L and L. I wasn't the one that came up with it but DH was when he was trying to tease our Pacific Islander son. Now lunch is our big meal of the day, just like dinner is at most, with lots of fresh food so L and L at the house is not too bad. It just means that everyone, usually about 14 people, is bottle necked by the microwave trying to heat their plate.

I go buy more and more and more material and don't use it, plus I never have the color I need when I need it.

LOL!! I just did that same exact thing last week....it worked great though
OK, me too! And, not only on black fabric.... why do you think I bought a multi-color set.... Yes, I confess, I don't know what I'd do without my Sharpie markers!

Buy fabric at Walmart. That is just wrong on so many levels.
Why is it wrong? Pretty designs and decent prices.
