It's definitely over. Years ago when toilet paper had prints and colors, yep, it did, anyone showing their true age will remember this. Toilet paper was not always white, you had to use the over style of displaying your toilet paper so the designs would show. My Mom would coordinate the toilet paper color with the towels and shower curtain. LOL

I'm an under ever since college. My roommate said her grandparents ran a hotel and found that people use less toilet paper if it is hung under instead of over. Conservationalist I guess! LOL

I think over is easier to use; but I really don't care, as long as it is there when I need it.

When I lived alone, I was an "under" but living with my husband and 24 year old son, I'm now an over. Fewer trails on the floor! Although I am always tickled pink when one of them replaces the roll themselves. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, whooo hooo!
