Just as I suspected--the quilting gene is hereditary! Carl's got it!!
Is he going to make one for himself?

This was his favorite quilt. I kind of wish we could keep it because it is his favorite but we made it for a purpose....and the purpose is a good one.

We need to support our troops and their families... thank them for all they sacrifice!

Carl loved the colors in this and the backing fabric ....he also did a "Custom" quilting job on this quilt....he quilted stars in one corner and straight lines to make it look like a flag....

Thanks for all of you who cheer him on..he is really appreciative.

Blessings to all of you!
A BIG PAT on the BACK and congratulations to you Carl. You did a beautiful job and the quilt will be so appreciated I know. Big thanks to you mom for teaching your two sons to quilt. I have seen work they both have done that you posted on the board. They both do fabulous work!!!

I love your quilting techniques and it is great that your sons are involved. I became involved form My grandmother and mother as a little girl in Elementary school. None of my sbilings kept it going and our daughters and our daughter-in-laws (minus one) could care less about learning!

Great JOB for Carl! And ALRIGHT to you and your family!!!
