YES!! I have been working on this one for a few years, off and on. I have all 40 blocks finished, and the triangles on the side and top. Now, just the borders are left. I can't wait until I get this one done....oh, yes, my background is black instead of cream.
    PLEASE can we have pics?

I will not do applique. You are the brave one.
Pictures now and then of your progress would be nice.

I think bigger blocks would be a good idea too, & you don't have to do ALL of them. Pick a few that you think you can do, & go for it! Sounds good to me, maybe after xmas, lol...

I have what I thought were ambitious projects but not this ambitious. Good luck and look forward to seeing your finished quilt.

this quilt can be simplified if you feel you do not want to take on the whole version of it.
I am going to enlarge the blocks I love the most and go from there.
I will also be machine appliqueing as I don't know needle turn
just regular applique...but since I have never tried machine
    figured I would.
don't turn away because pattern looks intimidating
make the pattern work for you.
there is a wonderful group of ladies that all do it together and are so generous with their kindness and help along the way.

It is wonderful. That would take me a couple of years to finish. Good luck. It's lovely.
