Yes please count me in! I'm going to use up what I have to make beautiful quilts and give them away so that I can have the joy of using the beautiful fabrics .

I've been on a fabric moratoirium, by orders from my husband, four some time. However, my stash has not gone down because people keep giving me fabric.

Count me in! I cleaned up some of my fabric stash (meaning I just moved it from one place to another) when my new french door went in this past summer. I found fabric I had forgotten I had! So count me in for a halt on fabric buying for the new year.
P.S. Does it count if someone gives you fabric??

I can soooo relate to this!!! However, I can't start till March seeings I have already signed up and paid for Roads to California in Jan. and a trip to the Robert Kaufman Factory in Feb.!!! There is no possible way I can get thru either one of those without some sort of purchase. It would be sacrilege!!

I plan to play along too! I have many things to finish up and a bunch of stash to use up! My four year old DGD has a stash too...she saw a quilt pattern online the other day when she was here. She told me she wants to make that one...it is called crayon box. While looking through her stash and picking fabrics, she kept telling me, 'don't cut that one up!" She loves to get them out and lay them out. We have 'sew' much fun!

Count me in! Glad it starts Jan 1st! I MUST buy some good quality white fleece - have 3 daughters and can make lots of table runners! Then the only other purchase will be for a double wedding ring quilt for our newest son-in-law...got him in April! Happy days!!!

Will you keep reminding us we are not to shop - occasionally? That would really help me! And my pocket book would appreciate it!

TX GMini, do you use the fleece for batting or for backing without batting for your table runners?

I am currently relocating my sewing area to another area in the house....should be reset by january. I am planning to do my own personal BOM or BOW from some of my books. May even blog about it here on the board as a way of holding myself accountable.
