No. never. I would bring it to their attention as they may be unaware. They more than likely would give you a clean cut yard off the bolt. I would ask. No selvage is just like no ice cream for the "a la mode." (the best part!)

Oh, you're quite welcome, penny! I hope you are inspired and look forward to seeing what people come up with using their selvages!

Sure know what you mean! We are all newbies in some areas of quilting and the ideas help alot. BTW, have you recovered fine from your surgery and are back to quiltng/cooking? Did your hubby make the fast fudge recipe I gave you? I just wondered how you liked it!

I tripped and wrecked the back surgery It was friday or monday. I don't remember. anyway wrecked the back surgery and did more damage to it. now I have pain gone down both the side and back of my leg. coughing even hurts. they want a new mri but I don't have money for this. I go for my second post op on the 18th. I cant even afford my breathing meds and I have copd. I can sew for about 10 minutes at a time before I cant tolerate the pain. Im gone to quilt the march doll quilt this wk end. yes hubby made fudge, put to much butter in it. I said when making candy of baking extra butter dosent work. and depending on how much pain, I cooked 1 meal this wk. I feel so bad for dh work all day, then come home and cook. its just not fair to him. Penny
