ok, ok...........I admit it.............my daughter will be 30 in Dec. I started this quilt the summer before she was born (1980). I just finished it this past September. It was made with 5" blocks of my 4-H and Home Ec fabrics. And it is presently on our bed.

While I was pregnant with Kristin 1980 quilt

I have a quilt top started when I was pregnant with my first - 1984. So not as old as some have mentioned, and not as new as some. I wonder if I will ever finish! I have learned so musch since then, that I can now see problems I didn't see then.

I can identify with you about not getting on the floor anymore. I take my larger quilts to my church and put 2 or 3 of those long narrow tables together and layer my quilts on them. I also have 2-3 sets of bed risers which puts the tables about 6 inches higher. Works great! My quilt group also has them for the tables there. Eliminates bending over the tables to cut, press, --- and layering quilts. Happy quilting. Ruth B.

Thanks, craftyneedle, for the hint about the bed risers. I need to find some of those. My back has started complaining about the work on low tables...
