Honestly, I try not to go to stores at all anymore (well, except LQS ;-) ). I do almost everything online - it is so much easier.

I saw that too and when asked why she was in line already she said, she wanted to be the first one in line.

Happy shopping to all of you who go - as for me? I'm getting some more shut eye! :) :) :)

Well, I said 'no' to Black Friday also. Although, last night I was rereading my JoAnn's sale flyer and noticed they have a 50% off coupon for each day beginning on Black Friday. Sneaky

Those coupons are good for online also but haven't seen, yet, that there is free shipping. Just off hand I am not aware of anything that I "need". But, if I do, I will go later in the day when those early birds are back in bed or resting their feet from standing on them for so long.

Side note: besides detesting standing in lines for any length of time, I also do not like sitting in traffic that is snarled, twisted and can get down right ugly. Here in the NW we are pretty much frozen in place. It "might" get up to 18 degrees.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! :-D

Yeh and you have a 50% off coupon for Joann's one for Friday and one for Sat but everything is on sale so they are not worth the paper they are printed on. They even put magazines on a 10% sale so you can't use your coupon on them and $1 off every yard of calico. What a rip off. Sure wouldn't see me there.

I don't have the patience for BF sales, might check online and see if the same specials can ship. In the end it might end up being the same as the gas I save not circling the parking lot to find the last space...

Looked at the flyer, didn't see anything that I couldn't live without or that won't be that price some other time in the year.

The flannel is never this low! I'm shopping for a charity that needs 3000 yards for the next year, and has been BFing for flannel for several years.
