    For this level of custom work with a lot of detail, dense background fills, SID, stencil and ruler work, etc. I charge .05 square inch. I think this one was around $245.

    Not bad, not bad at all, I think that is a great deal for all the detail in this quilt.

    I really didn't have a firm plan when I put it on the machine, especially for how to do the pieced blocks and blank spaces. I just sort of let it tell me what it needed.

    It would be fun to know how much time start to finish making the top and doing the quilting took. I'm pretty sure my part was over 35 hours. (That's machine time! I don't keep track of 'think' time! Fortunately some of that happens while I sleep! lol!).

    I have no idea how long my customer took to do the embroidery and piecing.

    Oh, yes! Mail order is an option!! I usually tell people to save shipping to me by not sending batting; I have it available. Check my website www.sewfari.com for more info if you like.

    (My vehicle has my logo on it . . . I've picked up a few customers in the parking lot of the post office, too!)
