AZ is a horrible disease and I'm sure that this beautiful quilt will offer warmth and love well past the time she will understand who it came from -

Very pretty quilt. Sorry to hear your mother is in the state she's in. I'm interested to know if the nursing home will actually wash the quilt per the instructions....have you spoken to anyone there about it? It has been my experience that institutions (mostly hospitals) will only wash in HOT water.
