And we all forget the saying "she who dies with the most fabric wins."
I just got several very large containers with my mother's stash and she was a shopaholic too. My intent is to make a quilt for everyone, her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all from "grannies stash". I have my work cut out for me, gotta get busy.

I have been working on 2 queen sized quilts since Jan and did complete 2 wounded warrior ones but I an anxious about starting a trip around the world that i look at the fabric and drool.WHEN. and of course I continue to buy any and all batiks just because.So we all have a version off the same desease quoltaholic and it is better than a martini and more fun than a tranquilizer.

Then I put a sticky note on each one to tell me how much I have of each fabric. I even do this with my scraps. Then they are separated by color. This makes it easier for me to fine what I am looking for. I use to work in the library when I was going to school. I guess it just a habit I have of keeping things organized.
