fascinating topic. i have never used beeswax but neither do i hand quilt nor do i embroider anymore. i wonder does the beeswax leave a residue on the items you sew when using the wax? how often do you run the thread thru the beeswax when you are sewing an item?
i am not seeing handquilting in my near future but my family is making a family heirloom quilt by hand and i can pass this tip along to them.

I have also used it when I need the thread not to twist and knot when I hand sew. Wonderful Stuff.
