    I don't think it is ugle either, at first glance it reminded me of a traditional quilt or old fashioned, second glance, the variety of colors to me is bold, very cheery.

    It's not ugly - it's like an old-fashioned quilt like my Grandmother would have made..if you are as old as I am you would understand. They used what they had. A lot of people would love to have it. Personally, I would have mixed the colors up more. I agree that it is not a modern baby quilt like you think of one today.

    Maybe you might like it better if you set the blocks a different way? And quilting can only make it better. Do something special, not just the usual meander, and make it come to life!
