I think I would either do a binding in one of the dark colors and not border or a thin border in a dark color for a frame then the wider white border. No matter what you do it will be a gorgeous quilt. So many ideas!

This quilt is just stunning! I like one of the first suggestions (QuiltE) of extending the double nine-patch into the borders.

How about half square triangle squares or flying geese in all colours and a white border each side.a faux flange in any colour except white separating main pattern from border. I do love it it is for cathou 'supercalifragalisticexpalidosous'

If it doesn't need to be a specific size, I'd skip the border and bind it the way it is. If you do need to make it larger, I'd just use a plain white border. I don't think you want to detract from all the beautiful work you've done.

Your quilt is georgous. I just finished a quilt with many colors in it and is similiar to yours. I did not like the type of border that was in the pattern so I took my quilt to the quilt store with me to try out fabrics. I ended up using a plain solid yellow 2 inch border than a 4 inch aqua border that was a tone on tone. My DH and I are very happy with the quilt. Why don't you take it to a quilt shop and audition fabrics ?

QuiltMajor--the pattern name is "Omigosh!" and is designed by Susan H. Garman. The online sight I purchased it from has closed but if you google it I think you will find a shop or two that has it. It gives beautiful results but is very labor and fabric intensive.
