I stitched up this pinwheel quilt to use up some scrap materials, then had to search for a border fabric that would go with it. Found these fun little birds in all the colors. Love how it looks.
I'm calling this my recovery quilt because I recently found out I have breast cancer and will be having surgery on Monday, 11/4. My dear friend, Fran W, quilted if for me. I just have to hand stitch the binding to the backing and it will be all done. Had enough extra fabric I even made a pillowcase to match.
