I got an e-mail yesterday already advertising their second (April 2014) issue. Hope I get the first issue soon

sewbizgirl I wonder also how they are producing this "book" quality magazine with no shipping costs and at the price point. Let's face it, this is not a traditional magazine at all, it is heavy card stock, full color prints, lots of pages. I do hope they can continue producing this quality without many changes but with costs these days, I do expect some tweaks along the way.

To all who are still waiting on your copy, it is well worth the wait. I just got mine today. You can tell they put a lot of effort into this new venture.

To those of you still sitting on the fence wondering whether to order a copy or not, it is worth the effort. If you like MSQC and what they bring to youtube, you should really enjoy this "book" aka magazine.

Mine came yesterday. It is a beautiful book and well done--just as I expected--MSQS does everything first class. I didn't see anything that I want to make right now, but things change quickly. Any time I need a quick project I will check Jenny's demos first. I think it was worth every penny and can't wait for the next issue.

Yes, the last day to subscribe to Block and get shipping and handling free was 2/19 and it was posted on the site. I'm sorry you missed it dottie.

I would then have to pay the standard 5$ shipping and handling fee. Do you think this is fair? I saw nothing that said that you needed to subscribe by 2/19 to get this issue mailed with no shipping and handling.

Please, all who haven't received your MSQC magazine yet....don't dispare...your magazine will arrive.
Remember they're doing this all on there own so there may be a few glitches at first. Just got mine yesterday and, like you all, I waited and waited, sometimes rather impatiently but, let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. It's gorgeous. The pages feel like silk and they have body to them. There truly are NO ADS. The pictures are large, clear, bright, with gorgeous color. The instructions are "up close and personal." There are color pages of each of the quilts along with all the info you'll ever need or wonder about like not only size but lists the fabric and the quilting design they used as well. In the back are 10 pages showing additional full page pictures of all 10 quilts so you don't have to go leafing from page to page to view your quilts. There is info on making a label, binding....just about everything. And sweet stories. The cover doesn't show a pristine quilt on a home decorating site but a quilt being used with a child jumping on it. So real. It's size is different as well. When you open it up to work on a quilt it actually stays open on its own! The whole magazine is so down-earth. There are patterns for 10 quilts and I actually want to make all 10! Usually I pay an arm and a leg for a new quilt magazine and am lucky if I like one pattern well enough to make it. My only dilemma with Block is which one to make first!

Hope all of yours arrive soon!
