Yes, it was a free gift bag from their orthodontist! The backside is plain. I love how they turned that into something useful. I'm going to do the same thing with a gift bag I have that has an advertisement on the front. Surely I don't want a bag with a funeral home ad on the front!! Sometimes you can find these tote bags plain for $1! I think TagMart, Wal-Mart may have them, Dollar Trees, Walgreens, etc. Still have a few more selvage photos but can't find the hand sewed one. Might as well have all these ideas in the same place so all of us can reference them when we go to do something with our selvages. Check on ebay everyone if you want to pick up some extras. Saw some there today under scraps for sale section.

    n2scraplvr,
I am so sorry you fell. Can't you find some sort of assistance to help cover your medical responsibilities.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I love what you do with your selvages. I have started saving them. Where do you get all of your selvages?

    Good luck hon

Yes, I broke my leg walking my two dogs. How did you know? I have told no one I don't think. Anyway, I did not rely on the State for assistance. My reliance is on the Lord Jesus Christ and He is the one who takes care of me!! Thank you dear for your very sweet concern! I love relying on the Lord -- He is my strength and my song and an ever present help in the time of trouble! He has shown me I will be returning to work soon! Praise the Lord for this! He has done amazing things for me! Thank you for your kind words. The selvage photos are for my inspiration when I do make something they are there to inspire and get creativity flowing. Hope you are inspired and please post pics of your creations with selvages. We would love to see them!!
