I would use the red instead of the white. The quilt is going to be beautiful!

I vote for red as the white looks out of place. Love your blocks, beautiful.

Wow you sure have gotten a lot of advice...in my humble opion I like NO corner stone it takes away from your quilt....now there you go another opinon...lol...good luck on making a choice.... your quilt is just wonderful!

The outter border has no corner stone now. Photo coming later.

I named it Nearly Raveled but the insides --the blocks--were made from a BOM from a group here locally. I just looked at the patterns and each block was named separately. They had log cabin sashing around them. I came up on my own with the pieced border.

OK here ya go. I did not smooth it out completely on the floor--too hard on the knees--but here it is ready to go quilting on my Lizzie. I am so glad I asked here and thank you all for your input. I am going to post a pic too under a new topic=--before and after. I named it Nearly Unraveled because I was not sure if I could keep it together personally--LOL--and the threads are raveling on the back due to so much handling.
