The sounds of a cat quilt with mice blocks in the corner sounds very much like a design Pam Bono would do. I don't have the pattern, but maybe you can Google Pam Bono to come up with something.

Fons & Porter, Love of Quilting November/December 2010 issue. On pg 109 was a picture of the cat quilt called, "Feline Frenzy". The instructions can be downloaded at www. FonsandPorter.com/nddogcat. That's where I got the pattern for the mice. Check it out!

Adorable! And I love the backing fabric!
I once had a little wooden mouse, of about the same shape as your mice, but it was posed with nose up....it would be cute to do a quilt wit one block nose-up, and the rest nose-down.
