    I'm sorry thought that might have been confusing. I'm not talking about making the pinwheel block. When taking any block and adding triangles to the sides to make it a larger square. How do I measure the triangles on the outside of the block. Confusing again? Sorry. :roll:

    Sounds like you want the block on point similar to the quilt above.
    Try this site for a good explanation.

    Maybe if you told us the size you have and the size you want that would help.

    Everyone should be almost finished unless you needed to make a lot more pinwheels.

    Say you have a 5 inch block and want to add triangles to make a bigger block, look under finished size go to 5" and go across to column Cut for QST which is 6 1//4 then cut this square from corner to corner making 4 trianges and sew onto your 5" square. Hope this helps

    I am excited I have all my blocks finished. I stayed up late last night because I couldn't quilt. I wanted to get the first 2 blocks quilted, QAYG. I love it but am having so much trouble with the thread raveling on the fmq. Hopefully, I will have it finished by next week. Deadlines aren't for me to keep, it seems lately. :roll:
