They think it's a Singer but we all know sellers have been wrong before. I think they think they have a sewing machine and they seem to want $25 for it.
No way to know for sure unless you contact the seller and see for yourself.

What you see is what you get - I'm guessing you get a wild goose chase - they smoke really good stuff in Bloomington.

I'm impressed with this one. I think the only detail they got right is that it's a sewing machine.

    FOR SALE
Collectible possibly antique 1955 SINGER SEWING MACHINE. HAS ORIGINAL KNEE PEDAL. STILL RUNS!!!!
    Model # F-2\5581

Any idea which machine this is? At first I thought it was one of the 15s in different clothes, but then I realized that the tensioner was in the wrong place.

This one has me curious: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details....dId=1004043660
Miniature Singer sewing machine. All metal/iron construction. Replica of 1940's style. Workable but used as showpiece as would not meet current safety standards.
And I'm seriously trying not to buy these two:
    http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details....dId=1004022342 - Beautiful Cabinet with a Raymond for $25
    http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details....dId=1002273314 - Frister and Rossman for $50

That's where I'm at. I'd make the room for that parlor cabinet.

That cabinet is what caught my attention. At first I saw the decals and thought they looked great for their age, but the cabinet is what clinched it for me.
I sent an email on the Raymond. Now I'm waiting on a reply. The F&R is really close to what I want (that but with a transverse shuttle), and a good price to boot. We'll see on that one.

You are correct! I have never seen one of theme in person, so I seem to always forget they exist.

I'd have put money on it being a 201-3 (201k)
