Kass, just amazing what you do with fabric. I had to search in the fabrics to find the pink centers! Do you stack the fabrics when you fussy cut? And question for the day, what is the difference between EPP (English Paper Piecing? right?) and hand sewing? I'm thinking EPP includes using a cardboard template while you sew?

I do not stack cut these, these are truly fussy cut. I use a template (paper) and glue it to just the right spot on the back of the fabric (elmers school stick glue) and then cut around w/ a estimated seam allowance. I use the paper template as the paper for my EPP and fold around the paper. EPP uses a paper template that is temporarily placed in the fabric to hold shape, it is joined by either the whip stitch (my favorite) or the ladder stitch or a flat back stitch. Regular hand stitching doesn't have a paper shape holder usually a stitch line is drawn on the back of the fabric and it is joined w/ a running stitch. I think for the intense fussy cutting EPP works best.

Kassaundra, I didn’t expect the star center to be in the less pink fabric. You clearly have a very good eye for this kind of work. I really enjoy “listening” to you describe the process. Thanks for sharing it.

Klaws, your blocks are beautiful. Perfect in every way. These quilts will be amazing!
Bibliostone, I Love My Block!! The Dandy is one of my favorite block patten. This block is fantastic. Thank you!
Also, I really like that 4 patch star block. It looks very cool.
JayneW, Beautiful pictures of your trip to Tahiti. Beautiful Island! I love vanilla also. Maybe dry out those beans to be able to process them. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Kass, It’s crazy what you can do with fabric.

Kass, your fabrics must look like swiss cheese when you get finished with all the fussy cutting. Today I was in JoAnn's with a 50% off coupon so I was looking through all the books. There was one that was right up your alley... Have you seen All Points Patchwork, English Paper Piecing Beyond the Hexagon, by Diane Gilleland?
I ended up buying Leah Day's 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs. Huge book. FMQ candy!! At $37 I never would have bought it without a 50% off coupon.
