GramE, I'm sending you hugs and prayers!! It's OK to be sad and miss your grandsons. It would be very hard to have both leave around the same time. Hopefully, you'll all be together soon, it the meantime, letters are a great way to write your feelings and let them know what's going on. They both will cherish those letters & read them to their kids someday. <3

GramE, it was emotional when my oldest dgd went off to college in Kansas but she came home quite often. It would be so hard for two go the grandkids to leave at practically the same time and not be able to see them very often. I think. Sounds like Jordon is responding well and hopefully his brother will also. Maybe just send a short thinking of you card till you are up to writing a letter. Sending hugs

((((((((((big hugs!))))))))))) for GramE! I think we all are feeling your grief. Just remember they are off following their dreams and becoming men. That should help. Prayers for their safety, and prayers for your hurting heart!

Thank you for their service! They were obviously raised well.

Quick pop in:
Hubby made it thru surgery, very grouchy and sore. Does not like low fat diet right now.
Daughter has a kidney stone or a tumor, ct scan on Saturday.
My foot is not healing, have to go to another doctor and possible surgery again....UGH!
Work has been very stressful, new person to train who knows more on some things than me. Scary.
Not much sewing done except customer quilts and need to get dones. I did sew four quilt tops last week because they were cut up and right there so could go fast. Not my best week. I am getting set to start my blocks for everyone. Bear with me.

GramE beautiful blocks you made. Also, hugs for you. I know it is hard to see your grands go off on their own. Just send them your love and be proud! Thank them for their service.

Jaba, so good to hear from you. I hope and pray that you will start feeling better soon. The effects of the chemo and radiation are hard to deal with. But, like everyone said, the end result is what we look forward to. Stay positive! (((Hugs))).

I have 3 more blocks finished. The first one is for GramE. It is called Perfect Petals and is #700 from the 1,000 Block book. I hope this puts a smile on your face.

This second one is for Cheesehead. It is called Mosaic 2 from Quilter's Cache.

This last one is for QuilterMomma. It is a variation of a Friendship Star from Quilter's Cache.

I hope everyone likes their block. I'm almost half way through. Been spending a lot of time at doctor appointments. I have 2 more and then I should be finished for awhile. Phew!!!

Klaws and GramE great blocks. I love my sugar skull block. I have 4 blocks to load. None would load yesterday so I hope they behave better today.

The first is for Cheesehead. It is called a Four Patch Star and is from the book200 blocks from Quiltermaker Magazine.

The next block is for DHenson. It is a variation of Dandy.

The third block is for Hav4boys. I do not know a name for it.

The last is for Kassaundra and is Hope of Hartford.
