Several people have asked for a tutorial for the convergence quilt that I made on retreat. I just posted it. I hope it makes sense to everyone. It is easy to make.

My book finally arrived - the book of stars, not Hunger Games! I can't wait to get started, but that will have to wait until after Easter. The blocks have a LOT more pieces than I anticipated.

LOL @ not Hunger Games. I just finished them too while in idaho. Day 1- traveling, book one. Day 2&3- visiting, book two. Day 3&4- visiting, book three. Day 4&5- visiting & travel home, new book The Hangmans Daughter. And I still managed to sew 12 Churn Dash blocks for Debs swap (had to hi-jack SIL's sewing machine), trimmed all grandma's house plants (per her specifications), went shop hopping with my BEST sister (and grabbed dinner & a movie). Got back to Texas and found grand kids from Florida at my house WITH 8 baby chicks for Papa! Cried when they left after three short days. Finely slept for two days. HaHa now I'm working on my past due stars and behind schedule DearJane blocks.

SheriR, Sounds like you have a full and wonderful life. Four generations, if I'm counting correctly.

I can't seem to find it. When I go to tutorials I only find 5 entries. When I do a search on convergence quilt I don't find it there either. What am I doing wrong?

It was there yesterday because I went and looked at it but it sure isn't there now. Maybe Admin took it down.

@ whitepine smiling shaking head yes to very happy life and yes, four generations.
@sculpyfan, grammy of 6, and PokerDive......my subscription to the tutorial is gone as well. I searched and searched for it at the quilt store today. I read her directions over and over last night and was so excited!!! Is it a copy righted pattern or something? Maybe she can PM us the directions. It was such a nice tutorial... sooo sad

I found out the tutorial has disappeared.I guess admin pulled it. I didn't think it was copywrited. I can snail mail it to anyone who wants it. Sorry.

I had never heard of a convergence quilt so I just now googled it and clicked on images. WOW. They are so amazing. Maybe I'll do one someday. What a way to use a favorite fabric. Thanks for sharing meanmom. And yours is there too!
