    Not sure what I am more in awe of - your heart surgery and making a quilt or your beautiful quilt.

    glad you are able to be up again and sewing up a new adventure. Very pretty. sometimes we need to look outside our box and try something new.

    The kindness and friendship demonstrated by this board is just amazing. But I shouldn't be amazed because, you are, after all, quilters - some of the kindest, most caring people on earth. For those of you who asked, the quilt pattern came from Crazy Curves by Elisa Wilson. I used the 71/2 inch templates but have no special sewing machine foot to piece it. I will do another quilt (or more) with these templates. This wasn't hard but I did have to really pay attention with the cutting and the piecing.
