I've said this before, but when I first started sewing/quilting (not too long ago) I went to Guild and someone took a thread off my blouse. I thought to myself, yeah, I'm a quilter. To me it was a status symbol.

No dog or cat hairs, just the annoying stray threads ! :)

    anyone else?

Always, but I don’t mind the threads….I have my sewing basket in the car and wherever I ride along with my husband I work on Cathedral Window….what is embarrassing is when I so into the store with my leather thimble on my right hand and my finger pincushion on the left….has happened more than once!!

I just brush myself off or change if it matters where Im going.
I went grocery shopping at Sams last week, was sitting down eating a hotdog with the kids when I heard a faint "ting", forgot I had put a threaded needle in the fold of my jeans on my lap so when I moved it fell out. means i went around for hours with a threaded needle in my jeans!
    How silly...
I had wondered what I did with that thing before I left.

Gee, I have threads, dog hairs, and cat hairs! I keep a tape roller by the door, one in my car, one at work...
