Thank you all. I'm currently working on adding the embroidery details on the vine/butterfly border. I know some didn't care for it, but it's fused down and there's no way I'm removing it at this point. I might be able to removed the loudest butterfly, though it doesn't look so obvious when viewed with the whole quilt. I'm wondering if I'm finding the pieced border a bit distracted because it's on point? I'm going to see how I like just a straight pieced border, but will definitely stick with the pieced look.

Yes on the first border, pieced. It's perfect for it. The others are not compatible. Just my opinion.

IMHO the pieced border makes it really pulls it together. Love it

What a wonderful quilt. You're right, it will be an heirloom. My mother would love it. I wish I could ask you to put it in a local show, but we're on opposite sides of the country!

I like the pieced border, it seems to complement the quilt very well, beautiful colors and I love the sunbonnets

I love your quilt! I would do the pieced border, but insert a 2 inch strip of the pink floral (that was in the last picture) between the pieced border and the quilt top itself. It would be a really nice finish that way, and will show off both the quilt itself AND the pieced border. Lovely quilt!
