Dude, send me a airline ticket and I'll happily show you how it's done! LOL ;-)

I have found it very easy to pick up, although I have done "crazy patching" which is the same kind of sew-then-flip-over style, so it may be I had a head start. I love the accuracy of it, how perfect the points come out, and how little the pieces can be.

Have you had a look on youtube for a tutorial? Or on the web?
(edited) - just had a peek, and there are a couple of tutorials on youtube. Search "paper piecing quilt". :-)

I've been trying to resist this swap but I've also been really wanting to do a black and white quilt so count me in! I haven't even looked at patterns yet so I'll pick one later. I'm still a beginner but will do my very best work. :D

My only problem is that I've been collecting black and white fabrics but they're all fat quarters. Do all my squares have to have the exact same fabric? Of course, it's not really a problem, it's a reason for shopping. :)

It would be fine to use your fat quarters, unless you really want to go shopping!
