I plan to start working on some ornaments this weekend. I haven't decided what to make yet, but I plan to jump right in & make something!

My oldest daughter & I make an ornament on Thanksgiving Day, because we love handmade ornaments. She has a studio apartment & has a 4-foot green tree. I've made an ornament for each of the girls every Christmas, but with all the moves we've made, even crossing the Atlantic twice, I don't know what happened to those ornaments! So we're creating new handmade ornaments, little by little.

White tree branches sounds interesting! Sorry, I come from a country where we put up REAL trees, so they are usually green by nature . Although I personally won't have a tree, I will hang my ornaments on the window and put up a few (real) pine branches on a cupboard to decorate. I'll enjoy the tree at my parents' place which we usually decorate together on Christmas Eve afternoon!

I'm working on a few different ornaments, but one of them is hexies, too!

It sounds like some of us are working great guns to get our ornaments done. I love working on them too. They are so satisfying to see after they are finished. Who knew that such a tiny object could release so much creativity?

Welcome to the ornament swap SMR! You are number 40 in the swap.

I'm making ornaments in sets of 2 and 4. Just because I can't settle on just one design, and this way I have plenty for my tree and a nice selection to choose from to send to my partner!
