This is to cool, I just decided to get started on reorganizing my stash, it will take me a while because I work so much, but it will get done (after I figure out where I put all of my fabric, quilting, sewing, and crafting supplies, oh and all of my notions and books and patterns and batting and all the stuff that is stashed in all the little places in and around my house, barn, storage sheds etc. :D

Personally, I would love to try her system. But I don't want to have to buy all the containers and I would have to have a map to locate every thing. But I think her system is really good and it would be nice to be so organized. But I know me, and I know I wouldn't stay organized too long.

I read part of her blog. I think that is what she does for a living...organizing things (not necessarily fabric).

Can you imagine the money invested in containers alone? Wow.... impressive stash. I'm an unorganized mess and I don't even have a stash!!!

That may very well be, but when does she have time to "do her business" when it seems all she is doing is organizing. I was looking at art bins yesterday at Joann's, $8.97 each on sale, but I would need about a thousand of them. I would rather have the fabric than all that plastic. I still am bothered by the "outgassing" of all that plastic and breathing it.

I for one would love to see her machines! I went back and looked at her blog and she does quilt. Not just piecing either....applique. As someone who is still fighting to get the "hang" of needleturn applique I'm impressed! I learned top stitch applique. I showed her stash to my 11yo dd who likes to sew/quilt. Her mouth just fell open. You know I think that even if you made a quilt a day for 50 years you couldn't use all that stash but I guess it would be fun trying. And it is a lit of containers even if they all came from the $ store!
