Thanks! I knew this quilt was going to take ... a while. I don't have a design wall (rather, I don't have an *empty* design wall) to hang them, and I didn't want to stack them somewhere where I would have to shuffle them around and allow them to fray. At the same time I wanted to keep an album of the details, and I wanted printed copies of the finished blocks (to look at while constructing). So I came up with the idea of keeping the book (there will eventually be multiple books), and basting each block to a sheet of paper to keep it's shape. I also make notes on the finished block, date, method, number of pieces and at the bottom, the placement of each block (mine will not be in the same order as the DJ quilt).

Had freezing rain last night ... a lot of it. It's an ice rink out there. My 100lb dog was slip sliding across the ice covered snow in the back-yard. that's the bad news. The good news is that I am going to stay home and sew!

And woohooooo ..... one Tri done too. Though you know we are going to be asking for group shots, so we can admire them all together! Time for ANOTHER design wall!
I actually got some blocks made on Saturday ... Must get some pics done to prove it!
