my dog is quite the conversationist too--I can tell what she wants by her "words" even if I'm not in the room! So can strangers, which tells you how good a communicator she is...My other dog just sort of moves along with the first, essentially saying "what she said"

I had both but recently my Maggie cat passed away so only have the dogs. Will get another cat when it picks me.

I curently have 1 cat, 2 dogs, and 4 birds. But the strays always find my back door.

Cats! Cats! I presently have 5 kittens (4 solid short hair black, 1 F, 4 M & 1 M b/w, long hair & an 9 yr old female calico. I need to take them in to get fixed, F first at a low cost clinic. Was going to thin them down to 3 but each day we become more bonded. 3 are friendlier than others. I live alone so they are a great comfort! Some of my family was living with me when they were tiny, brought them in when weather got real cold, they were nervous with so many kids & feet around but since family has moved out, they are more relaxed.
