Go into the quilt just to stroke the fabric. Especially when I've been at our cottage all summer with no quilt shops around. Okay I know sounds a little sick but it's true.

I hide fabric in my car, then take it into the house when my husband isn't home....

Spend too much time on quilting, neglecting other household duties.

I too am a widow and live alone, and have been known to stay in my jammies for two days and quilt, and have even driven thru the drive thru in my jammies!

In my mother's defense, she may only do little projects but she ALWAYS feeds the family (and by family, we are all adults who could cook for ourselves) :)

I too am in the widowood sisterhood ... though I will confess of staying in my "fluffy" flannel nightie long into the day/afternoon. I cannot fess up to leaving home with it on!

I know some day I will regret my day-nightie-wear ... and get caught with someone coming to the door! And even though I know that ... it doesn't seem to jolt me to get dressed! :)
