I was in one of the WalMarts here in Massachusetts. Since they are in the process of re-arranging everything, I ask if they were getting the material department back. NO!! The gentlemen told me because they didn't sell enough material, no dice. BUT!! Instead, they are putting a large electronics department in instead.

Not a happy camper.

Well, the Wal-Mart in Traverse City, MI discontinued fabric when they built the Super store. Wouldn't you think they would have MORE ROOM, NOT LESS? However, they made enough room for a large hardware, sports, and GUNS! What's up with that? I am going to register my complaint with the central office at:

Walmart in Washington, IL has fabrics by the yard, and lots of notions. they have Brother sewing machines. They have a full craft department- scrapbooking, yarns, foam cutouts, beads, batting. 6 aisles of crafts/sewing/quilting. :)

Well, the Wal-Mart in Traverse City, MI, discontinued carrying fabric when they changed over to a Supercenter! I was told that there was not enough room! (after increasing the size of the store. However, they had enough room to increase the hardware, sports, auto, and GUNS department. I am going to register a complaint with the corportate office at:

I noticed last weekend that our Walmart has fabric on bolts again. Yippee! Haven't checked the one on the other end of town yet but hope they have it too.

We still have our Fabric Dept but prices have gone up. You have to watch the quality of the fabric. I have found by doing the fabshophop I have found some great fabrics at bargain prices so order a lot from Internet. Can't wait for mail to arrive then.

Our Wal-Mart here in Muskogee, OK now has a full service fabric dept.!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! So happy to see the shelves finally filling up. They have some really cute fabric and I try to buy at least one yard every Saturday, usually ends up being at least 3 or 4 yards. I bought a very cute fleece snowman panel that was on clearance for $4 a yard!!! I have the same pattern in a Heaven and Earth cross stitch pattern that I'm working on!!! Never know what you'll find.

Thanks for the home office address. I will write and give them my 2 cents worth, couldn't hurt. Anyway, I seriously doubt that men spend more on guns and ammo than women do on fabric, but I could be wrong.
