i think it's another way for the company to protect it's rights to that image. people copy everything and think nothing of not giving credit to the originator. at least it's pretty inconspicuous. think for instance of harley davidson--not exactly subtle, but you know who to credit!

I don't like it and I don't buy anything that has advertising and I'm paying for the advertising. But don't cut it off as you will then need to resize your pattern. Instead buy some fabric with leaves, or branches that you can either applique or fuse over the insigna.

Well, if it's a poplular logo with the hunting/outdoorsman-person crowd and I was giving it to someone who liked the brand then I'd leave it on.
