I quilt for: The ability to create what will hopefully be a piece of family history.....The joy and relaxation it brings me.....to give to those in need and to my loved ones.

I like creating something with my hands and I love to give to others. At christmas time you can always go buy what ever you want but for me it's about giving from the heart and so I quilt or whatever crafts i do. To me it means more because I put thought and time into it.

Agree completely--Love my sewing room and enjoy making others warm and happy with my quilts. Also, all the mental effort that goes into making a quilt helps to keep our minds active and agile.

There us so much in our world we have no control over or choice in how to create or construct, this brings to me a place I CAN SHOW LOVE in my way, just because I can,
