Today I am spending the day with my DD. Tomorrow I am spending the day with DD, DSD, DIL and DGD. My birthday is Tuesday so we always do something together. We are going to lunch, then to see the Diana exhibt. I will be on happy overload.

Just seeing the sunshine instead of clouds and snow! I have to work all weekend, but that's o.k. too.

Went for a wonderful drive with DH up into the mountains. It was really cloudy, and towards the top we were literally driving in the clouds. It was awesome. Then, the rain started, and it sounded so nice hitting on the top of the car. I've always loved the sound of rain.

had to work in the morning, but i got to sew in the afternoon and then talked to my mom, who lives about 14 hours from me, for 3 hours! luved the afternoon! :)

I'm jealous!!! :mrgreen: How I loved going to the start of the Iditarod while we lived in AK! One year I even got to see the end of it! Talk about exciting! All those dogs... Such a flurry of activity... And how anxious the dogs were to run....

Spent last night with my DD and today with DD and DSD. Great day and beautiful weather. Bought 2 pairs of shoes at Belks and saved$100.00. DH asked why I didn't buy more. Think I'll keep him.

This thread makes me happy. So much negative in the world, nice to see pages of good things. I'm happy today with the rain outside. Am inside working on the art quilt for my kitchen. The top is together, ready to embellish and quilt. :thumbup:

Went shopping for clothes and bought a $70.00 100% cashmere sweater for only $4.99. (Yes, four dollars and 99 cents!)
Bought three other tops and a spring jacket for my Granddaughters and spent less than $25.00 total! :)

Didn't buy any fabric though. :(

But have enough for now :)
