Weezie, Are they PP? I love your fabric selection, specially block 2. Nice.

Thank you! They're not PP. I don't PP very well ... I'm very uncoordinated. I am racking up a huge pile of printer paper pieces after I print & cut out each template, so am putting it underneath the little fabric pieces to stabilize them before I stitch. This is also serving as a substitute for heavily starching the fabric (which I HATE doing) and a wonderful method of keeping my sewing machine from eating my seam allowances (I don't have a single hole throat plate).

Here are my blocks 2 & 3. . I have a note by the basket.

In blockbase it's called Bread Basket (if you want a pp patt). Open EQ, go to BB..scroll down to Realistic and then down to Empty Baskets. Click on it and find the basket. Copy it to the sketch book.

Open SB and Edit ithe block to the table and tell it to print. Click on pp. (it won't have a pp pattern) Click the tab at the top that says "options".

Then click on the right where it says start over. Then you can divide it into the parts. When you select the part you have to click on "group" and so one until you have it the way you want it for the pp patt. Make sure to figure it out first before you group them and number them.

I also have a note by the Basket weave and it says cut strips @ 1 1/2 inches.....

These are #1 & 2. This is the first time I've done scrappy. Is there enough contrast in block 1-small triangles seem to disappear? Thanks.

Here are my first two blocks. I've had the book for six months and I'm so happy to be finally starting on this one.
