I think it is grand! And the width and length is just right in my opinion... btw it would go great in my kitchen too!!


Oh, if this is a pattern it would be great to post it... and if you made it up... at tutorial would be grrrrrreat :)

Beautiful! My husband and I were just talking today about window treatments for a couple of the rooms in our home. I suggested we make Roman shades with Warm Window fabric. I think something like this to use as a valance would be just the thing to finish them off perfectly. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think you did a great job. I really like it. If you are worried about it not being wide enough, you might just put a sheer black panel (floor length) on each end to cover the hardware. You might also be able to find something in the floral section that would compliment your valance and hide that little bit of hardware. I only mentioned those options because you seemed to be a little concerned about it, but I like it just like it is.

The valance itselt is just beautiful, but I think it would really pop if you changed the blind to black. (or white but preferably back)
