I am female,, 67 y/o, married 50 yrs and just stopped full-time R.V.ing after 11 years. We've settled in Pahrump, NV. I hadn't quillted in about 8 yrs but it is slowly coming back ! And, I'm a retired R.N. and missing that terribly, So, I just decieded to get back to quilting and jewelry designing (I'm much better at bead work).Anyway a buddy would be delightful. I'm full of questions and no answers. I'm registered as saraaev

    Hi,

Although fairly experienced at sewing, a relative beginner at quilt making. I have made several bags and some art quilt work and have just finished my first bed quilt, it's full of mistakes but I love it and am so proud of myself! I would love to be adopted especially by someone who is a detail person as I am not and need lots of tips also with machine quilting. First time I have posted although have been watching the boards for a while. Thanks

I sent you a PM. As I said in another post, I consider myself a "seasoned quilter," but I am willing to help whenever I can.

I am willing to adopt a beginner, I tried before but they never responded back. I am mostly self taught, and of course the board has been my teacher!! I was adopted for paper piecing before and did well at it. I am into Bow Tucks bags at the moment! I am a hand quilter, have a great method of sandwiching quilts that works well, no back breaking work!! I do not do well at machine quilting unless I use my Embroidery machine!!
