Lovely quilt! Also love your peek-a-boo buddy! He looks sooo cute! He just brings a chuckle. I have a small, light store-bought quilt on my bed.

It is absolutely beautiful! Wish I had an embroidery machine. I've wanted one for 20 years, as luck would have it both om sister and sister-in- law both bought two each a couple of years ago. I'm still wishing. Maybe someday If I don't get to old to use it.

This quilt is an Eleanor Burns pattern called "Pink Lemonade". When I went to the quilt shop I for some reason bought blues, greens & yellows! So I changed the name to "Blueberry Cobbler!"

Right now? My son, with a sore throat and a fever of 103deg.
Seriously, I'm just now working on a quilt for MY bed. After quilting for years for everyone else but me, it's time for ME, Me, me. It's a scrappy patch that I'll scribble all over with my favourite free motion designs,
... when I get the time to put it on the frame....
after the next 2 or 3 projects that have to get done first....
... and the housework......and walk the dog - again....and call my mother.....

It's interesting how many of us have cats and dogs who sleep on our beds. :) I have two miniature australian shepherds who are on the bed in the morning with me!

I have a Brother Pacesetter PE 100 embroidery machine if you're interested. I bought it from a friend who could'nt use it any more due to health reasons and I've never used it.

I have my first ever quilt on my bed - I was forced to make my own because I couldn't find a lightweight one in the colors I wanted. It's a simple pattern - split rail - big pieces! My advice - just go for it!

I made a quilt to custom fit my bed, but it is white, and the cats who sleep with us are gray tabby, and long haired, black Norwegian Forest cat. I just can't make them stay off, or quit shedding, so my quilt was on my bed long enough for pictures, then put away in the cat and dog proof sewing room. (More of a storage area for fabric, since I sew in the family room.)
