They didn't use crinkle finish in 1939.
And when they did start offering the crinkle finish, the 201 was never one of them.

Um, the 201 didn't have a vibrating shuttle?

Did anyone notice most of the attachments are for a WW 9 or Singer W9? wonder where they came from . . . there are a few top clamp style for fun too! I'm not sure any of them fit the pictured machine.

    Christine-great signature.
I didn't notice the attachments. Good eye.
Another obvious one. The price is way too high for that machine, even with the attachments.

It’s not too common to see a two-piece Singer Model 27 Bobbin Winder like this one on eBay. Bid starts at $20, Buy-It-Now for $28.

    CD in Oklahoma

Cd I'm going to display my ignorance. That one is broken correct? I know the one on my 27 isn't two piece.

A very good deal for a Davis Vertical Feed.

it wouldn't take much disability for me to not want to use this machine
I'm not laughing at a disabled person but those sewing machines were a lot of money and came out not all that long ago. The vintage machines hold what ever value about as well.
